We support the following database types, data sources and versions for Datamaker™ and Data Subset™:
Datamaker™ and Data Subset™ can also support additional database types which are not specifically listed, such as Informix, DB2 z/os and DB2/400. We also use Pervasive's connectors to connect to many other database types and data types. Please contact us for details.
Software: a typical client machine would be running Windows XP with 3 Gb memory, a CPU greater than 2Ghz and about 200 Mb free disk space.
Hardware: The server database will need around 200 Mb of free table space and the database’s SGA needs to be around 3 Gb. All disk space sizes will depend on the way the tool is used.
Simple Data Masking™ supports all major database types. Some examples include:

- Flat files
Due to the nature of the product, Fast Data Masking™ currently only supports Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2 z/os, ISAM and VSAM as well as flat files. Grid-Tools generally recommend using Fast Data Masking™ over Simple Data Masking™ in most instances, but Simple Data Masking™ supports all database types.
